FEBRUARY AGLOW GATHERING – Love Poured Out

“And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
On Thursday, February 23, at 7:00 p.m. on the SECOND floor of the Nathaniel Center in Kingwood (see link below for map), we invite you to join us for a time of fellowship, worship, a surprise project, and prayer. We will begin the meeting with refreshments and fellowship as usual, followed by worship. We will then break into small groups to spend some time working on a creative project to express the theme of God’s love. Don’t worry — you won’t have to draw a map of Paul’s travels freehand, or paint anyone’s portrait! We have designed an activity that will assist us in processing God’s love for us, an activity we will enjoy together. Curious? We welcome you! No RSVP needed — there is plenty of room for everyone! Come and allow the Holy Spirit to refresh you!
We also have a weekly study in progress for those interested in small-group study and prayer. We are currently studying Bill Johnson’s When Heaven Invades Earth and discussing God’s Word on this topic. Contact Chris at aglowhouston@gmail.com to let us know if you would like to participate!
