The Open Door,

“I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.” Revelation 3:8 (NKJV)

God has set before us an open door that leads to His will, plans, and purposes for our lives.  The question is:  dare I go through it?  The Bible says that no one can shut the door that God has opened for us (see Isaiah 22:22 and Revelation 3:7).  The enemy may attempt to obscure or camouflage that door, but he cannot shut it.  We can simply refuse to enter.  I pray that God will reveal to me the places the enemy has clouded God’s will for my life to the point that I am unable to see the Door He has opened for me.  I also pray for strength from the Holy Spirit to walk through that door.  His purposes await us!  Let’s go through the gates! (Isaiah 62:10)  “Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will go through them, and I will praise the Lord.”  Psalm 118:19doorway
